Post AGM Lunch at the Hong Kong, Marbella

Post Annual General Meeting Lunch

Immediately following the Annual General Meeting, we will be able to toast the success of Marbella and Inland U3A and, at the same time, welcome the advent of the Chinese New Year of the Dragon. Once again this year we will be holding a lunch at the Hong Kong restaurant at the bottom of Avenida Del Mar, overlooking the Paseo, in downtown Marbella.

The sixty of us who attended last year will, no doubt, have fond memories of the seemingly endless servings of delicious food, liberal libations of wine and water and some special prizes. In truth the restaurant has a hard act to follow but Huike has assured us that all the staff are up to the challenge and, apparently, they now also have a renowned Chinese chef. Since we are considered regulars we will be accorded the appropriate hospitality.

The menu is a set one but extensive. All tastes for Chinese food should be satisfied but, please, remember to pace yourselves.  Wine and water is included in the price and there will also be some generous prizes in a free draw.

Payment on this occasion is on arrival at the restaurant. This event is very popular and we are expecting an excellent response. Places are limited so reservations are definitely required and should be made as soon as possible by email directly to info@u3a.es . If you don’t receive a confirmation you have not reserved.

Cancellations will be accepted up to the 25th January but any cancellation after that or non attendance may not exempt liability for payment.

So why not make a day of it? Attend the AGM and then sashay down the Paseo from the Sultan Hotel to the restaurant.

Alternatively if you can’t make the AGM then perhaps you can just come along for the lunch and catch up there with goings on.
