 Wednesday 5th October:

 

ATONEMENT

Starring: James McAvoy & Keira Knightley

Synopsis: Through a series of catastrophic misunderstandings, Robbie Turner (James McAvoy) is accused of a crime he did not commit. This accusation destroys Robie and Cecilia's (Keira Knightley) love and dramayically alters the course of their lives. A sweeping romance that is both captivating and deeply moving.

Wednesday 2nd November:

BILLY ELLIOT

 

Starring: Julie Waters & Jamie Bell

Synopsis:With 13 BAFTA and 3 Oscar niminations, Billy Elliot is a heartwarming tale of an 11 ear old coal miner's son (Jamie Bell) in the north of England who;s life is forever changed when he stumbles upon Mrs Wilkinson's (Julie Waters) ballet class during his weekly boxing lesson. Before long, he finds himself immersed in ballet, demonstrating a raw talent never seen before and reaching for a dream that changes the lives of everyone he touches.

THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL

 

Starring: Natalie Portman, Eric Bana & Scarlett Johansson

Synopsis: A sumptous and sensual tale of intrigue, romance and betrayal set against the backdrop of a defining moment in European history. The Other Boleyn Girl tells the story of two beautiful sisters, Anne (Natalie Portman) and Mary Boleyn (Scarlett Johansson) who, driven by their family's blind ambition, compete for the love of the handsome and passionate King Henry VIII (Eric Bana). MISS POTTER 

Starring Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor

Synopsis: Whilst delighting generations of children with her books, Beatrix Potter kept her own story locked carefully away. Directed by Chris Noonan and starring Academy Award winner Renee Zellwenger and Ewan McGregor, Miss Potter is the enchanting love story inspired by Beatrix Potter's life and love affair with her publisher Norman Warne.

Wednesday 4th January:

A THOUSAND ACRES 

Starring: Michelle Pfeiffer and Jessica Lange

Synopsis: Based on the Pulitzer Prize winning best selling novel, A Thousand Acres follows the saga of the Cook family, headed by the indomitable patriarch, Larry Cook (Jason Robards). Cook's kingdom is a fertile farm that spans 1000 acres, but the seeds of its destruction are sown when he impulsively decides to distribute it among his three daughters. Ginny (Jessica Lange), Rose (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Caroline (Jennifer Jason Leigh). The apportioned land soon begins to divide the family.
