Welcome to U3A Marbella and Inland

The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a world-wide non-profit making organisation for mature people. Its aim is the promotion of learning for enjoyment and personal fulfilment.

Group Leaders are volunteers who share their particular interests or expertise with members.

Membership is open to English Speakers of any nationality.

While we are affiliated to United Kingdom U3A we remain autonomous and focus on the interests and requirements of members who live and visit the area from Estepona to Calahonda on the coast and in Monda, Coin and Alhaurin El Grande inland.

We offer varied courses, activity groups and lectures. Whether these are based on the coast or inland, attendance is open to all members wherever they live. This part of the world is generally blessed with wonderful weather which, coupled with incredible scenery, makes it a special place for our outdoor pursuits, walking, birdwatching, photography, astronomy and painting. A healthy mind in a healthy body is a relevant adage for our organisation.

Everyone has the opportunity to meet like-minded people at any our our activities as well as at the various social gathering held through the year.

Members can obtain advantageous group rates for all types of insurance including our special health scheme.
